Precautions 

Patch Test Before Use

• Why: The formula contains multiple potential allergens (e.g., Acrylates Copolymer, various silicones, preservatives like Phenoxyethanol).
• Precaution: Apply a small amount on your inner arm or behind your ear for a day to check for any redness, itching, or irritation before using it under your eyes. 

Avoid Direct Contact with Eyes

• Why: The product is designed for the undereye area, not the waterline or inside the eye.
• Precaution: Apply carefully to the skin below the lash line. If any product gets into your eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water. 

Not Recommended for Broken or Irritated Skin

• Why: Applying makeup to compromised skin can trap bacteria and cause further irritation or infection.
• Precaution: Do not use if you have active eczema, dermatitis, cuts, or sunburn in the undereye area. 

Close Tightly After Each Use

• Why: The product has water-based and wax-based components. Leaving it uncapped can cause it to dry out, degrade, or become contaminated with bacteria.
• Precaution: Ensure both caps are clicked on securely to preserve the formula's texture and effectiveness. 

Discontinue Use if Irritation Occurs

Specific Ingredient Precautions

• BHT (Butylated Hydroxytoluene): A small percentage of the population may be sensitive to this antioxidant/preservative.

• Mica / CI 77891 (Titanium Dioxide): While generally safe, these pigments can cause irritation for some, especially in a delicate area.

• Precaution: Use a gentle patting or tapping motion with your fingertip or a soft brush to blend. Avoid dragging or pulling the skin, as this can accelerate the formation of fine lines. 

Removal is Crucial

• Why: The long-wearing, water-resistant formula is designed to stay put. Standard cleansers may not fully remove it.
• Precaution: Always use a dedicated makeup remover or micellar water designed for long-wear products to ensure all residue is gone before bed. Sleeping with makeup on can clog pores and lead to irritation.
