• Patch Test: If you have sensitive skin, perform a patch test on your jawline. Some shades contain Iron Oxides and Carmine alternatives (CI 15850) which can sometimes cause reactions in extremely sensitive individuals.
• Facial Use Only: This product is for facial use only. If any allergic reaction or discomfort occurs, please discontinue use immediately.
• Eye Area Caution: Powders containing Ultramarines (CI 77007) or Manganese Violet (CI 77742) are safe for cosmetics, but avoid getting a large dusting directly into the eyes, as these are color pigments and can cause irritation.
• Flashback Warning (Silk Veil Line): The Silk Veil powders (CR715/CR716) are high in Silica and Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891) . If you are being photographed with a bright flash, use a very light hand. While modern Silica is better than old-school Titanium dioxide, heavy layering can still cause a white cast.
• Keep Dry: These powders contain Dimethicone and starches. Do not wet the product or pick it up with a damp sponge directly from the container, as this can ruin the texture and cause bacteria growth.
